      We just tagged and built a new default version set at Jefferson

      Lab. It includes recent updates to the following packages:</p>

    <ul>

      <li>halld_recon: FMWPC hits and FCAL calibrations for CPP, fix

        allocation of TObject and TClonesArray which caused crashes on

        OS8/9<br>

      </li>

      <li>halld_sim: few fixes and additions to generators<br>

      </li>

      <li>hdgeant4: improvements to make system<br>

      </li>

      <li>gluex_root_analysis: skip over events without a physics

        trigger<br>

      </li>

      <li>hd_utilities: allow tar files as input for launch scripts<br>

      </li>

      <li>ccdb and diracxx: minor tweaks</li>

    </ul>

    <p>A few changes requires the upgrade of build_scripts to version

      2.39. You may find the new xml file here: <br>

      It was successfully built on RHEL7, Centos7, RHEL8, Alma9, and in

      the Centos7 and Alma9 containers and will become the JLab default

      tonight.<br>
