[Halld-online] Requests for new evio C++ functionality

Hi,

Now is a good time to get your requests in...

I've added convenience functions requested by Johann, and am working 
with Maurizio on to redesign the dictionary for improved functionality.

Future upgrade requests, to be discussed with Carl and others, include:

- append mode
- random-access i/o
- more complete compatibility between EVIO and JEvio
- automatic compression on input and output
- C++ API for packing/unpacking composite banks (now must be done by hand)
- additional i/o channel types

and especially:

- switch everything over to Boost shared_ptr to eliminate possibility of 
memory leaks
