[Halld-online] Hall D Component Inventory Database

Hi,

Just a reminder, please test the Hall D component inventory database 
this week as I will delete everything and start fresh in production mode 
next week:

Send me any comments you have, limitations you've seen, new columns you 
would like to see, etc.  I am actively working on it so if it doesn't 
work, try again in a few minutes.  If it doesn't work for longer than 
that get back to me.  It is available from off-site via a CUE login.

Note that this is basically the CLAS inventory system cleaned up a 
little and customized slightly for Hall D.  After I get feedback I (and 
CLAS) will improve it based on the feedback.  The improvements may occur 
over an extended period, but they will always be backwards compatible so 
we will not lose anything.

Let me know if you are interested in bulk-loading any existing data 
(from spreadsheets or whatever).  I will have to write custom scripts to 
do this as there currently is no bulk-loading facility in the system.

Many of the improvements Sergey and I have discussed might be done by an 
undergraduate summer student.  Let me know if you have a line on anyone.
