[Halld-online] Large scale DAQ testing

Dear Onliners,

  Sorry for the late reminder, but we will be continuing our large scale DAQ testing this morning from 9am-11am in the counting house. We will be using all of the DAQ crates in the hall during this time. After consulting with Alex last week, we’ve decided not to start the testing with the Trigger Supervisor today due to the fact that only about half of the crates have been wired to the TS so far. Instead, we will be testing the following:

1.) Run 50 crate SoftROC test using the hdops account

2.) Test secondary readout lists with RootSpy

3.) Test hdmon with running system

4.) Write to raid disk and check automatic file transfer to tape library


As soon as the trigger distribution cabling is complete, we will being testing 50 crates with a pulser trigger.
