Parts of both the CCDB and RCDB packages require python 2.7, but more specifically, the argparse module that comes by default in python 2.7. The RHEL6 computers in the Hall-D counting house have python 2.6 installed by the system. In order to access the full functionality of CCDB and RCDB with python 2.6, the argparse module was installed on a number of computers. The source for the module is located in /gapps/python/src . The following computers actually had this installed back in February:

gluon02, gluon03, gluon04, gluon05

(n.b. gluon01 is running RHEL7 which uses python 2.7 and therefore, does not need to have argparse installed)

The following computers had argparse installed today:

gluon40, gluon41, gluon42, gluon43
gluon47,gluon48
gluon100, gluon101, gluon102, gluon103, gluon104, gluon105, gluon106, gluon107, gluon108, gluon109, gluon110, gluon111
