[Halld-online] gluon maintenance

Hi All,

  I would like to do some maintenance on several of the gluon computers on Tuesday morning.
This includes:

1. updating the kernels so that all of our RHEL6 computers are running the same version
(see current status here: https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki/images/2/25/20160601_kernel_versions.pdf).

2. Change default compiler for gluon40-gluon111 and gluonraid1-gluonraid2 to be gcc 4.9.2
(gluon01-gluon39 will remain at gcc 4.4.7)

3. Upgrade default Python version to 2.7


These will require some computers to be offline temporarily or in a state of flux.
If you have any issues with this occurring tomorrow morning, please let me know.
