[Halld-physics] the next draft of the eta-primakoff proposal

    Dear Curtis and GlueX collaboration members,

  As you know we have submitted the first draft #1
  version of the eta-Primakoff proposal in the beginning
  of November for the collaboration-wide discussions and
  participation in this proposal.
  The proposal can be found at:

  During this last month we continued to work on the proposal,
  mainly on the electromagnetic and hadronic (physics)
  background parts. Given to the scope and difficulties of
  the simulations, this work is still in its active stages
  with significant contributions from many members of the
  collaboration.
  The results from past week are already showing that the
  background can be controlled on the level appropriate for
  this proposal.
  We will still work on the background for this week, and
  plan to include the simulation results in the new draft#3
  version of the proposal, which we plan to submit to the
  collaboration in the next coming week.
  In this new draft the change will be made in two subsections
  only: (1) in the section #10 "Background Simulation" on
  page 32, the new results will be added; (2) based on the
  results from the background simulations, the sect. 11.2
  "Uncertainties" on page 36/37, the "Table 1" will be
  possibly updated.
