Colleagues,

I have posted a link to a discussion that took place in 2005 on the precision of polarization determination, and its role in amplitude analysis.  I have also added a note under the link that Curtis added to the Mike Williams paper (that is a very useful paper, btw) highlighting Appendix A where a simple example is offered to illustrate the point I was making about the invalidity of judging goodness of fit in a max likelihood analysis based on the agreement between the best-fit likelihood obtained from the data with the values obtained when analyzing MC samples of similar size that were generated with the bit-fit model values.
