Hi all,
Last week we had an interesting discussion about the differences between diffractive production and one pion exchange. We noted that some meson quantum numbers are more accessible in charge exchange production and are suppressed in neutral pion exchange. In this regard, we were discussing the merits of using delta++ at the lower vertex in charge exchange processes instead of a recoil neutron. …and that leads us to a few papers on charge exchange production of 3 pi to read and discuss this week:
