Hi All,

Here are some references for the GlueX reading group this week.

Let's concentrate on this one:
"The reaction gamma p to p omega pi+ pi- for photon energies of 25-50 GeV"
Nuclear Physics B 229, 269 (1983)
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0550321383903322?np=y

There's also some pre-digested supplementary information on this (and other things) in my dissertation. I put a copy of chapter 3 here if you are interested:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2qq4hyvpoz4ixyz/thesis_ch3.pdf?dl=0
Section 3.3.5 is most relevant. [This was written by a graduate student, so don't be too critical! Sorry, too, that the file is a little big due to copied and pasted figures. It's easiest to read if it's printed out first.]

The latest on e+ e- to omega pi+ pi- is here:
"The e+ e- to 2(pi+ pi-)pi0, ..., cross sections measured with initial-state radiation"
http://journals.aps.org/prd/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevD.76.092005
The omega pi+ pi- part is in section IVF, starting on page 11. Figures 14 and 16 contain the essential info.

Ryan
