Also, if you are submitting your own plugin:
1) Regardless of what cuts you put in your plugin, the analysis library will also place standard, default timing/dEdx/missing-mass/invariant-mass/E-over-p cuts to try to control the size of the output trees. If your cuts are looser they will do nothing, but you can always cut tighter.
2) Since the dE/dx cut is now applied automatically by the analysis library, you should no longer use a custom action to perform that cut: Please just remove it from your plugin. However, if you want to have your own custom cut, you can still use it.
3) Try to make sure your output tree files aren't too large: the last big launch took 60TB of disk space. If your trees are rather large, please tighten cuts to make them smaller.

Subject: [Halld-physics] Spring 2017 Analysis Launch: Plugin Deadline is WEDNESDAY
We are preparing an analysis launch on the reconstructed Spring 2017 data. We will likely run it in 2 batches, a "simple-channels" batch (no detached vertices and no weirdly-placed missing particles), and a second batch containing the more complicated channels. The channels we will be analyzing automatically in the first batch are at:
https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki-private/index.php/Spring_2017_Analysis_Launch
If your favorite channel is not listed, please email Alex Austregesilo and he will add it. Also, if you would like to submit your own plugin, the deadline is Wednesday at 5pm. Be sure to notify Alex exactly where your plugins are, and which plugins you would like to run.
