Hi, all,
I was invited to give a report on GlueX in a bi-yearly meeting for all
high energy community in China on June 20-24 in Shanghai. I would like to
submit the abstract "Hadron physics at GlueX" to the conference. The
deadline for submitting abstracts is May 30.
The GlueX experiment at the 12-GeV-upgraded Jefferson Lab aims at
understanding quark-gluon interactions and searching for exotic states
using the high-energy hadron photoproduction. The GlueX has been data
taking successfully since 2016 spring and the Low intensity program
expected to be completed in 2018. The high intensity program will begin
subsequently with the new DIRC detector. Ten times more data and higher
K-pion separation are expected. The first physics paper on the beam
asymmetry in high-energy π0/η photoproduction has been
published, and a broad hadron photoproduction program is well underway. In
this talk, we will report the status of the GlueX experiment and the
recent results on hadron physics from GlueX.
Any suggestions or comments are welcome before May 28!
Best regards,
Zhenyu
