Hi all,
As discussed at the amplitude analysis meeting today, I've worked through how to implement amplitudes in Vincent Mathieu's recent paper for polarized photoproduction into AmpTools.
The notes are here:
https://halldweb.jlab.org/doc-private/DocDB/ShowDocument?docid=4094
For each set of nucleon spin flip (or non flip) amplitudes there are 4 coherent sums. 2 sums contain positive reflectivity and 2 contain negative reflectivity. One needs to be careful in AmpTools to properly constrain the production coefficients that a repeated in two sums.
I plan to use this recipe to repeat the exercise with amplitudes and moments that is discussed in Vincent's paper and then use this mock data set to try to fit moments directly.
Matt
(Thanks much to Vincent for his help in constructing these formulas!)
