Hi Tolga,
You don't need too specific for an abstract like this. The detail you already included seems fine to me.

Subject: [Halld-physics] [EXTERNAL] Tentative Abstract APS April
Note: This message originated from outside the FIU Faculty/Staff email system.
Hi everyone,
Happy new year first of all!
I'd like to share the abstract that I have on the ready for the APS April deadline this Friday. Adding the citations (without DOI/other specific info I was able to leave out in the past) I end up with 66 characters left. The plan is to perform a talk.
https://halldweb.jlab.org/DocDB/0048/004830/001/abstract%20%284%29.pdf<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__halldweb.jlab.org_DocDB_0048_004830_001_abstract-2520-25284-2529.pdf&d=DwMFaQ&c=lhMMI368wojMYNABHh1gQQ&r=TgX2D-OFVSwTt-M7dIIh7w&m=sS-2fMlS4hxvJzHArMsdsN7tIBwdADFKpNy5yO3ubP8&s=dmTwolT0iWvKfwb1kb42Wse4uwz32rl8T3YT2zY1Rb4&e=>
Now what I mainly want to ask the advice of this group for is if I should mention "sideband analysis" or "systematic correction(s)" in the abstract, or leave it to the presentation itself (I'm pretty sure there will be a slide dedicated to these based on new work)? For the purpose of APS April, it might be too specific. Now if I choose to do the more topical meetings, maybe it's more appropriate?
Thank you all,
Tolga
