Dear Collaborators,
Since my last daily update, we have had stable overnight running last night and day running today. We completed the following tasks:
1. Trigger/DAQ test for production mode: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3910093
2. 15 min production sample and 5min raw mode data (requested by Sean): https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3910123
3. Remaining snake scan round #3.
4. FCAL calibration run (completed around 15:00 this afternoon):
We are currently moving onto the next set of calibration tasks includes: BCAL pedestal running (Sergey), TAGM study (Richard), FCAL voltage fine-tuning (Igal), TAGH voltage adjustment (Sasha), ToF checkout (Beni). The straight track FDC test will start at 4 am tomorrow by Lubomir.
As we are entering the production data phase, we identified the monitoring systems were not functioning as expected during the overnight operation. Thanks to the attention from the experts (Alex, David, Keigo, Marks), issues such as rootspy, e-log certificate, twice-a-day histogram email feed, etc, were resolved. Hydra may need a little more statistics and training to function properly. The counting Hall camera should be installed by tomorrow. Shifters are currently keeping up with the paper run checklist too. In short, we are very close to returning the smooth production during a normal gluex running
Please also note that we will have our regular meeting run meeting at 8:15 am tomorrow morning, I will host the meeting on Igal's behalf. We will finish the meeting by 8:50 am to avoid conflict with the collaboration meeting.
Many thanks
Bill
