Dear Colleagues,
The Calibration & Production WG will meet tomorrow, Wednesday November
15th, at 2:00pm.
The preliminary agenda and zoom info are here:
https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki-private/index.php/November_15,_2023,_Calibration_%26_Production
We reserved F326/327 for in-person attendance at JLab.
*Special note for detector experts*: Amy sent out an email on Nov 2 asking
the experts to update their instructions for the monitoring volunteers for
the CPP runs. The volunteers will need these instructions when they start
work. Please let her know how you are getting on with this. I pasted her
email below.
Thanks,
Naomi.
Dear Detector/Calibration Experts,
We're starting the data quality monitoring process for the CPP/NPP runs.
Since most of our monitoring volunteers are not detector experts, it would
help a lot if each of you could fill out the relevant subsection for your
detector on this wiki page:
https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Offline_Monitoring_Data_Validation_CPP
I've copied in the plots from run 100987, using the same plots as used for
GlueX-II, but please feel free to change them out if needed. What I
especially need is for you to use the notes section to describe what the
volunteers should look for in a "good" plot. Naomi did a great job
describing the CDC plots, so that section is a good reference if you're not
sure what to write.
If you could get this done by Nov 10, aka a week from Friday, that would be
really great. If you can't, please let me know.
Best,
Amy
