Subject: Abstract submission is open for the DNP Fall Meeting
To: <sdobbs at fsu.edu>
Abstract submission is now open for the October 2024 DNP Meeting in Boston.
Please submit abstracts through the submission site
<https://info.aps.org/e/640833/Z-G454988GN/2rl7sc/1234012636/h/AKlYwZ__h6-UyJelL7zphmFQ6GBxKtLMw1QNcnZYhlU>
.
The meeting will be held October 7-10, 2024 at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza
Hotel, near the historic Boston Common. The meeting will begin the morning
of October 7th with five workshops, followed by the plenary session.
More details about the meeting, including detailed summaries of the
minisymposia, invited sessions, and workshops, can be found on the meeting
website
<https://info.aps.org/e/640833/dnp2024-index-html/2rl7sg/1234012636/h/AKlYwZ__h6-UyJelL7zphmFQ6GBxKtLMw1QNcnZYhlU>
.
DNP members are encouraged to submit abstracts to one of the sorting
categories below. The general sorting categories, [1]-[16], as well as the
minisymposia, category [20], are available for contributed abstract
submission. The minisymposia summaries can be found here
<https://info.aps.org/e/640833/dnp2024-program-symposia-html/2rl7sk/1234012636/h/AKlYwZ__h6-UyJelL7zphmFQ6GBxKtLMw1QNcnZYhlU>.
If a member feels their research fits in one of these categories, be sure
to submit it to that category.
Cateogry [16], in bold below, is a new category to provide APS members with
a mechanism to submit abstracts that could fall at the intersection of
basic and fundamental research and education.
Categories [17] and [18] are for undergraduates only. Posters, category
[17] may only be submitted by undergraduates supported by the CEU program.
Category [18] is for undergraduate oral presentations.
The deadline for all abstracts but the undergraduate categories, [17] and
[18] is midnight ET, *Friday, July 8, 2024*. The undergraduate deadline is
later, on *Friday, August 2, 2024*. Registration will open in June, look
for another email then announcing the opening of registration.
We are looking forward to an exciting meeting in Boston and hope to see
many members there.
