[Halld-physics] GlueX Physics Meetings, Tuesday April 15

Dear colleagues,

as some of you might have seen, there is some more discussion ongoing in the google-group concerning the Phi Pi+ Pi- paper, that we started discussing in the PWG meeting two weeks ago. We postpone picking up the presentation of the changes until the discussion points are settled and there was time for the Review Committee to prepare the updated presentation.

Thus, we may use the PWG slot (11am) and room (F326) tomorrow for a practice talk for an EIC workshop that is ongoing this week: “Search for Exotic Hadrons at GlueX” (M. Albrecht)
I was asked to show our efforts and studies related to hybrid search and amplitude analyses.

Also, a final reminder to please send your comments for the Collaboration Wide Review of the Compton Cross Section paper by the end of Friday, April 18th, either through the web portal (https://gluexweb.jlab.org/node/add/comment-on-paper-1), or the corresponding google group (gluex-compton-discussion at googlegroups.com)!


We will also have the Open Analysis Discussion session in the afternoon, starting at 1pm in F326.
