Hi everyone,

thanks to everyone who attended this weeks Physics Working Group meeting, and especially to the volunteers for our data comparisons, and to Albert for giving us an update on CPP/NPP.
Minutes can be found here: https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki-private/index.php/August_11,_2025,_Physics_Working_Group#Notes_from_the_Discussion

As mentioned in the meeting, our plan is to compare (flux-normalized) yields for different reactions across different run periods, with the 2020 data being the baseline.
For this purpose I set up a dedicated wiki page and a new spreadsheet where we can collect our numbers here: https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki-private/index.php/Comparisons_2020_/_2023_/_2025_Data

We can get started on the numbers for the 2020 data right away, while the analysis launch for the 2023 data is finishing and first set of 2025 runs is to be started soon.
Please add information to that page and spreadsheet as needed!

Best,
Malte

Dear colleagues,

We will have a Physics Working Group meeting tomorrow at 11am. F326 is reserved for those on-site.

There are two items on the agenda:

- Initial discussion about 2025 GlueX-II/JEF data and planning for comparison with previous Run Periods

- Status and activities of the CPP/NPP group (Albert Fabrizi)
