[Halld-pid-upgrade] Followup on MCP-PMT and use with DIRC

Dear Colleagues,

Attached are some references for the development of focusing DIRC 
readout and the MCP-PMT photo-detector. I also include a one page 
summary I sent to Rolf regarding possible use of DIRC bars in GlueX. In 
addition, I'm planning to submit a proposal to the JLab LDRD program 
(http://www.jlab.org/div_dept/ldrd/index.html) so that we can acquire 
some MCP-PMT samples from LAPPD collaboration and test their performance 
with various Cherenkov radiators at JLab.
