It's OK with me to skip the meeting. Some news to share. Marcel told me
early this week that they have successfully sealed a 20x20 cell without
photocathode. They will then continue to try to seal a working cell with
photocathode. On the other hand, I received a questionnaire from INCOM,
the company who manufacturers the glass substrate for MCPs, for their
Phase II TTO contract with the DOE. I filled out the questionnaire with
our interests and requirements. Other than the document on the readout,
I'm also playing with a toy model to see whether we can make a smaller
and similar focusing design.

I haven't had a chance to go through it yet, but he and I could meet tomorrow afternoon and discuss it. We all can discuss together at our small group meeting next Thursday. (I also have another meeting elsewhere on campus tomorrow at 2:00, so I'd be able to attend for the first 20 minutes at most.)

Would people like to meet to discuss any updates or plans for the design document?
