Hi Justin,

the most complete and technical info I remember seeing about the optical coupling for the Belle-II TOP counter was presented at a mini-review in December 2013:

They are using the method described on those slides for the current construction.
Inami-san also gave a short update on their N2 flow system, which may be useful to us as well:
