[Halld-pid-upgrade] DIRC Meeting: Friday June 3 @ 11 am

Dear all,

a quick check of the purchase order from 2011 suggests that we used
Borofloat 33 borosilicate glass for that window.
The optical properties are better that the usual float glass (I think
that the iron content was reduced, improving the transmission for
shorter wavelengths) but not anywhere near fused silica. You can see
some of the data at

http://refractiveindex.info/?shelf=glass&book=SCHOTT-multipurpose&page=BOROFLOAT33

or http://www.us.schott.com/borofloat/english/

Cheers,
	Joe
