Hi John,

very nice slides!

I’m putting here my comments, although I believe that most of them you keep in mind to say during your talk.

I’m not sure what are you going to say on the calibration system, but maybe  make clear the current status? I missed the last meeting, so my info may be out of date. That GSI is doing simulation to find out if the LED-based system is a suitable option for the DIRC calibration. They are looking into the timing resolution as well as the LED pulse shape. After that we decide on the light source and talk to Fernando about the structure of the calibration system. Right now the LED-based system looks promising.

Maybe add the long-expected red bracket somewhere? I’ve talked to Jason last week and he said it will be ready in about 2 weeks (= next week for CM). And the new molds as well.

I’m not sure if it worth mentioning - the number of PMTs we are getting this year/for initial installation.

For “Baking cookies” maybe make it clear that the goal is to try the flat mold and then test the mechanical handling of the cookies to finalize the receipt.
