Hi,

Mark, below is some requested info (I will attend next
SC meeting):

I've ordered 4 25 um (S10362-33-025C) and
2 50 um (S10362-33-050C) 3x3 mm^2 SiPMs about
1.5 month ago. These SiPMs are in a ceramic package.
We are planning to test them at JLab first and
can send them to FIU later on if needed.

Fernando is going to assemble several preamps for 3x3
SiPMs (he already has parts for the preamps as far as
I know). You can plug SiPM pins into the preamp directly;
the preamps PSB is about 1x1 cm^2 (wide).
Note, the ceramic pachage is larger than the active area
of the SiPM (you can find some plots on a Hamamatsu web page).
If you want to stack several SiPMs, you will need an SMD
(surface mount device) SiPMs - they are cheaper but conncetion
to the preamp is more tricky (I guess that a special PCB
with several preamps will be needed).

Cheers,
        Sascha

P.S. We are going to present some timing measurements of
3x3 SiPM and array shortly.
