Minutes

    Present:
      * FSU: Sasha Ostrovidov
      * JLab: Eugene Chudakov, Chuck Hutton, Mark Ito (chair), Simon
        Taylor, Beni Zihlmann


Statement of Work

    Mark circulated a draft of the statement of work recently. Eugene had
    some questions:
      * Is the resolution stated consistent with the proposal?
      * Is the schedule realistic?

    Mark received a copy of Elton's scintillator specification from CLAS.
    Eugene suggested getting a copy of the CLAS12 specification from Dan.

PMT Purchase

    Mark is collecting documentation on the phototubes we are considering
    for purchase. Details of the procurement process are being discussed.

Items on the TOF Wiki Page

    Mark has added a few items to the [31]wiki page:
      * Chuck Hutton's [32]3D drawing of the TOF mechanical conceptual
        design
      * Paul Eugenio's [33]photograph of a recently made light guide
      * a [34]TOF cheat sheet, with nominal module counts and a sketch
      * another [35]schematic of the H10534 phototube, this one without the
        dynode read-out


Prototype Report

    Sasha has tried various splitters for one of the counters and measured
    mean-time resolution.

    20      80      about same as 50/50

    A test with the trigger counter rotated so that 6-cm dimension is
    vertical is under-way.

Action Items

     1. Answer questions about SOW. -> Mark
     2. Get scintillator specifications used for purchase by CLAS12 (Dan
        Carman). -> Mark
     3. Get more splitters for FSU from Fernando. -> Mark
