    GlueX Start Counter Meeting, October 31, 2019, Minutes

      Start Counter section of GlueX NIM paper

Mark has finished a first draft of the section on Overleaf.


      dE/dx from the start counter

Sean Dobbs asked that we discuss the quality of the start counter dE/dx 
measurement and how it compares to Monte Carlo. We did not have the 
right people to discuss calibration, etc., but Simon reported that he is 
looking at the comparison between Monte Carlo and data.


      Dark Rate measurement

Beni Zihlmann provided a plot of dark current 
<https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3737321> that adds a point taken a few 
days ago. He noted that the value reproduces the value that we saw at 
the end of the PrimEx run.
