    GlueX TOF Meeting, August 26, 2020, Minutes

Present: Mark Ito (chair), Sasha Ostrovidov, Beni Zihlmann

      TOF Calibration

Beni is re-doing the calibration for the 2019-11 period. He discovered a 
bug (an inappropriate initialization value) that caused some small 
fraction of the fits to find the true peak timing value. He also 
implemented a work-around for the PMT #63 problem he reported last time 
<https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/GlueX_TOF_Meeting,_August_12,_2020#Calibration_Anomaly>. 
He is using the time-walk correction for that channel from the last run 
where the ADC was behaving properly.

He has uploaded some constants to the CCDB so that Sean can get started 
checking results.


      Data Monitoring

Sasha has been checking the monitoring plots for the TOF from time to 
time. He had no anomalies to report. He will continue to make the checks.


      TOF NIM paper

We re-re-dedicated ourselves to the effort.


      Action Item Recap

 1. Decide on when to ship PMTs to JLab from FSU (Mark, Paul Eugenio)
 2. Prepare a complete draft of the TOF NIM paper. (all)
 3. Paddle 18 re-calibration (Beni)
