Present: Mark Ito (chair), Sasha Ostrovidov, Susan Schadmand, Simon 
Taylor, Beni Zihlmann

      Review of minutes from the last meeting

We went over the minutes of the August 26 meeting

        Re-calibration

Beni complete the re-calibration, but Sean found two runs where the 
constants had problems. Beni used nearby runs to provide constants for 
the problematic runs. This may indicate a residual bug in the 
calibration code. This will be examined in the future.


        TOF NIM paper

Not forgotten, not progressing either.


      Work during the SAD

Beni brought our attention to an email he sent to Eugene in response the 
Eugene's call for items that need work during the Scheduled Accelerator 
Down. From Beni's message:

    With regard to the TOF we have to do some maintenance on the PMTs.
    At this point I do not yet know how many PMTs we need to replace but
    I think there will be a few. Paul Eugenio has developed tools that
    this PMT replacements can be done in-situ. However we have to learn
    how to use them. If we find that the one suspicious paddle with
    weird signal shape is more than just a bad PMT, like a broken light
    guide we may consider taking the TOF down and lay it flat in order
    to fix it. This obviously will require some more resources and may
    need the assistance and/or at least guidance of FSU.

Visits of collaborators to the Lab is discouraged during MEDCON-5. Some 
advanced planning will be required to do this work.


      Action Item Recap

 1. Decide on when to ship PMTs to JLab from FSU (Mark, Paul Eugenio)
 2. Prepare a complete draft of the TOF NIM paper. (all)
 3. Make a plan for TOF repair during the SAD. (all)
