    GlueX TOF Meeting, June 30, 2021, Minutes

Present: Edmundo Barriga, Jason Barlow, Eugene Chudakov, Paul Eugenio, 
Mark Ito (chair), Sasha Ostrovidov, Simon Taylor, Tim Whitlatch, Beni 
Zihlmann

      PMT Repair

Paul and Edmundo are planning their trip for July 12-16. Registration 
difficulties have been resolved. Paul's Rad worker testing is scheduled. 
They are bringing the equipment necessary to affect repairs, including 
10 PMTs (only 2 are needed) and a vacuum chamber.


      Air Light Guides

Minor point of historical significance only: the plan with the air light 
guides, now postponed indefinitely, was to install four of them, one for 
each pair of single-ended counters in the upstream plane, and assess 
performance.


      Loaned Equipment Return

FSU has purchased a CAEN ADC and a Wiener VXS crate. These are to 
replace items loaned from the Lab. In addition to the 10 PMTs mentioned 
above, Paul and Edmundo will be bringing the Lab's ADC and crate with 
them for return.


      TOF II Trigger

Beni reported that Hai Dong has completed writing the new firmware for 
the TOF CTP. The next step is downloading and testing. Eugene floated 
the idea of Sascha Somov doing the downloading and Sergey Furletov doing 
the testing.


      TOF NIM paper

No new news.
