Hi Elliott,
We'll only ever do 1 axis at a time, but in principle it can do all 
simultaneously. All the stuff you mention  is taken care of in the 
controller but the parameters (eg velocity, accel etc can be set to 
required values by the user.

I believe there is an EPICS driver for this box too. Hall-D already have 
an XPS-C8.
