Richard,
I called in this morning over a phone but it seems that my comments or remarks could not be heard (? - despite un-muting the microphone).
Anyway, Nathan reported on the fixed-array status, most counters behaved well (except 4 counters had a comparatively high rate, 1 CEAN HV channel was not working from the beginning ... is there still warranty on the modules?). We have lots of data to analyze in order to get a reasonably good timing information.
What I wanted to interject in the meeting: it was my mistake to end the beam-tuning attempts on Wednesday evening (with non cycled tagger magnet) since the active collimator response was ambiguous and moving the beam to 'maximize' the rate on the collimator or to center the beam were unsuccessful (I sent a mail to Alex Barnes about it ... but I completely missed that I was looking into the beam tail). My apology! Maybe I can help to set up a documentation page to help other shift 'leaders' to get a good beam into the hall.
Happy holidays,
Franz
... and congratulations and thanks to all who made this commissioning run a success!

Dear Colleagues,
This is a reminder of our regular biweekly working group meeting for the photon beam this morning at 11:30 EST, our last wg meeting of 2014. Please look in the usual place for the draft agenda.
-Richard Jones
