[Halld-tagger] [EXTERNAL] beam working group tomorrow at 3:00

Hello all,

Please remember our regular photon beam working group meeting tomorrow at
3:00. Since we have not met in a month or so, a number of topics have come
up that we need to consider, including the following items:


   1. Calibration
      - Assignment of responsibility for tagger calibration -- *discussion*
   2. Systematics studies
   3. Ongoing tagger work
      - Report on TAGM energy changeover -- *Ellie*
      - Investigating the TAGM photon yield decline over time -- *Ellie*
   4. Ideas for future running at higher beam intensity
      - tests and optimization of X-ray absorber - *Lubomir*, *Justin*
      - possible design of a beamline X-ray deflector - *Richard*


In particular, I have just started working on a new idea to use a thin foil
as a grazing incidence X-ray mirror in the photon beam, as a potential
means to gain a factor 3-5 in beam background reduction in the cdc and fdc
chambers. It is a challenging technical project but it looks like it is in
the realm of feasibility, would like to hear your feedback.
