I'm thinking of putting an infrared camera outside the vacuum
chamber to monitor the temperature of the radiators and take
images at low light condition. The camera can be put upstream
(backward angle) so that it has both a good view of the radiator
and low radiation background. I talked to Tim and he told me
that it's pretty easy to put a quartz window on the vacuum
chamber to let the camera see through. Regarding the camera

The fluke Ti32 fits our needs pretty well in term of
specifications, although I'm not sure how to implement it into
our online system. It has good temperature range and
sensitivity, and the spatial resolution is about 0.5 mm if we
put it 40 cm away from the radiator and higher resolution can be
achieved by replacing its lens. The cost is about $9000.<br>
