<div dir="ltr">Hello Mike,<div><br></div><div>As the editor-in-chief it is your call, but I hear from others that we are breaking up the long chapters that we had in the CDR and making separate chapters for each detector system. If there is a separate chapter for the start counter, certainly there should be separate chapters for the pair spectrometer and the tagger. I believe that there is enough material on each one to justify separate chapters on each of the following:</div>
<div><ol><li>polarized source</li><li>tagger (includes magnets and instrumentation)</li><li>pair spectrometer (includes magnet and instrumentation)</li><li>photon beam instrumentation (includes active collimator, primary and secondary collimators and associated sweep magnets, profile monitor, total absorption counter, triplet polarimeter)</li>

I have the contact person for the Tagger as Richard Jones, and the contact person for the Pair Spectrometer as Alexander Somov. In the current TDR there is a chapter "Photon Beam" that contains both systems.<br>

Do either of you have a preference on how the material under the Photon Beam chapter is managed? We could have a single person responsible for the entire section, or I can keep the contact person for the tagger and pair spectrometer separated.<br>

I have talked to Liping and she has some documentation for the low granularity PS counters. She wants to know who she should give the material to. If we keep the contact persons for the PS and tagger separated then I'll have her send the document to Alex.<br>
