GlueX Target Meeting, January 18, 2011
Minutes

    Attendees:
      * JLab: Mark Ito (chair), Chris Keith, Yi Qiang, Elliott Wolin
      * UMass: Rory Miskimen


UMass MOU

    Mark reviewed [27]notes from a meeting last week on the construction
    MOU with UMass. Allison Lung suggested some significant changes. We are
    thinking about how to proceed. We will have to schedule a discussion
    (perhaps at the next collaboration meeting).

Target Refrigerator

      * Chris asked for some guidance about how soon we will want to
        purchase the refrigerator.
      * He mentioned in passing that the unit being considered is water
        cooled and uses up to 11 kW.
      * He got a copy of the flow diagram for the Hall B cryotarget. It
        looks a bit on the complicated side.


Next Meeting

    We will meet again in four weeks on Tuesday, February 15.
