Hi Gary,
	I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but certainly a chamfer can be used 
with these edge connectors and it will help reduce the insertion force 
considerably.
	I'm not arguing against an insertion/extraction mechanism as is now 
being dicussed. That's also a fine idea. I would think you might still 
want to chamfer the board edge.
