Hi Eugene, Lubomir,
I reviewed the Gerber files for the FDC wire boards and compared the
production versions (the ones now installed ) and the recently purchased
boards.
There are 5 board types:
a) 1000 & 1003 - these are the filler boards on the sides with just
grounds - No mechanical differences, no electrical differences, wider
gold plating on the outer periphery of the board.
b) 1001 & 1002 - these are the boards that carry the preamps - No
mechanical differences, wider gold plating on the outer periphery of the
board. A couple of traces on top and bottom layers are on the wider gold
plating area but no other electrical differences. Note that these traces
are no longer used as they were intended for serial temperature readout
which is no longer implemented. I recommend applying a layer of
conformal coating to these traces in the gold plated area due to the
grounding implementation, though.
c) 1004 & 1005 - these are the HV boards - No mechanical differences, no
electrical differences, wider gold plating on the outer periphery of the
board.
All the boards are mechanically identical in size, hole locations, etc.
As usually done, vias must be conformally coated where necessary prior
to lamination.
Please proceed with assembly.
Best regards,
Fernando
