In which case, yes, the .4375 pin fits through without pressure. It is a
perfect fit, so the pin needs to be lined up exactly, but then it just
slips through easily, no pressure.

Thanks for the offer. I got an email from Lamina today and they
say they can correct the scratches by changing the tooling.
Apparently
there was an aluminum coated guide causing the scratches. They
will also redesign the packaging for the future orders.
