[Halld] GlueX Grad Student Workshop

Hi all,

We would like to organize a one-day workshop for graduate students on the physics of GlueX and the GlueX detector.  The tentative date for this workshop would be Thursday, May 13 (the day after the next collaboration meeting).  

The plan is to have some talks on GlueX physics and analysis in addition to some talks by graduate students on their work.  We are investigating the possible of supplemental funding to support travel for students so that everyone may participate in person.  

If you are a graduate student working on GlueX or the advisor of graduate student working on GlueX and you or your student would like to attend, please send me an email indicating your interest.  Assuming there are enough interested students, I will follow up with more organizational details.
