[Halld] Commissioning Update

Hi All,

  For those who don’t know or may have forgotten, I’ll be taking over as Run Coordinator in Hall-D during the
weekends for the rest of this month. Alexandre is taking a much deserved break for a couple of days to remind
his family what he looks like. Our plan is to have him act as Run Coordinator during the week and I will take
over on weekends. At all times you be able to reach the current Run Coordinator via the RC phone: 757-383-5542.

  Today marked another milestone for the accelerator in that they were able to simultaneously deliver beam 
early in the morning to 3 halls (A, D, and B) . There was about 4 hours of downtime today, but the beam has
been back for a few hours now. Key points:

- Most of the day has been spent on DAQ and trigger studies. A combination of rollbacks and modifications
have brought the DAQ to what seems to be a more stable configuration where we can run up to about 1-2 kHz. 

- Work continues to re-establish the BCAL trigger. Once that is established, trigger alignment studies will continue
tonight until we establish a suitable production trigger for overnight running (BCAL if possible, FCAL otherwise).

We will continue with the run plan over the weekend (see link below) focusing on optimizing the trigger where 
needed.
