[Halld] Update on commissioning

Dear collaborators,

We had again a good day of beam. Yesterday evening, Alex Somov continued the set-up of the production trigger and we ran overnight with it, efficiently gathering data. We concluded the production run with an empty target run of 2h (Simon already analyzed it, see https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3337103 , https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3337126). We had then a 2h long access principally for fast-feedback work. Then Eric did a quick study for the Start Counter (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3336174) and Trent Allison and Brian Bevins worked more on the fast feedback commissioning. They were able to cancel a 60 Hz that had been seen on our beam, although more work remains, see https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3337109 Meanwhile Sergei worked some more on the DAQ and Alex Barnes took more data for the microscope bias study (the data taken yesterday turned out to not be sufficient). Alex Somov is presently working on the multiple triggers commissioning. Meanwhile, the solenoid magnet is ramping down to 0 so that we can take straight track data for DC alignment overnight, until 9am. Then we will continue the fast feedback commissioning, Sergei will work more on the DAQ and Alex Somov on the trigger. We will ramp-up the solenoid to 1300A so that we can start gathering more production data during the Friday-Saturday night.
