Dear Colleagues,

We had a successful weekend of mostly production running with some time used for a few special studies.

We used 42 hours of beam during the 8 weekend shifts, accumulating ~1250 million triggers for PARA, ~1550 million triggers for PERP and ~540 million triggers unpolarized.  Special studies included some trigger tuning, data with the TRD prototype, and some further study of the relative luminosity of the PARA and PERP configurations.

The relative luminosity difference is still not completely understood.  Overnight we ran with 200 nA beam in the PARA configuration achieving only a 24 kHz event rate while 160 nA beam in the PERP configuration gave a 29 kHz event rate.  

We will have the usual run coordination meeting at 8:45 this morning to discuss our final week of running.
