[Halld] Update, run coordination meeting, Sunday 14th, 11am

Dear collaborators,

After a quick replacement of the damaged magnet in arc5, Accelerator has been trying to deliver beam to us but had several issues: mainly a problem with the beam separator and then an injector set-up that could not accommodate Hall D operation at the same time as Halls A & B. These problems are now fixed and useful beam for our program is being delivered to Hall D since 1:57pm today (Saturday). We have been finally able to start our program. The beam quality is adequate, similar to what we got in December: higher radiation levels than wished for and a satellite peak on the x-profiler, but the beam is good enough for the start of our program. We will postpone the improvement of the tune to later next week since it is not critical for now.

We will have a run coordination meeting tomorrow, Sunday 14th, at 11am to discuss the short term plans.
