[Halld] Virtual Machine Image for 2016 GlueX Physics Workshop

GlueX Physics Workshop participants,

The virtual machine image for the physics workshop is ready for download.
Please download it as soon as possible. The size of the VM image is almost 5 GB, so it will take some time to transfer it to your machine.
There will be only a limited number of thumb drives available on site for obtaining the VM, so, if possible, please obtain the VM in advance.

The VM image can currently be pulled from two places:
1. Main location: Hall-D Web distribution directory
https://halldweb.jlab.org/dist/GlueX_Physics_Workshop.ova

2. Temporary location: My home directory on JLab CUE, /volatile/halld/ through scp
scp -p  <JLab_username>@globus.jlab.org:/globus/expphy/volatile/halld/home/nsparks/GlueX_Physics_Workshop.ova .

When you power up the VM, you will notice a README.md file on the Desktop of the VM, including information about the VM settings and usage notes. Please read it before starting on the workshop exercises.
