Subject: Windows 10 Upgrade Plan and System Purchase

Good morning all:

As many of you know, Windows 7 is reaching end of life and there
were a significant number of systems in the division that required
either an upgrade or a replacement.  We have completed the assessment
of these systems, and have concluded that 30 computers would need
to be replaced before the end of the upgrade period.

I've attached the assessment report for your review. As it stands, Rolf
believes that we can fund many of these through the PADMIN account,
but would prefer for the halls and groups to cover what they can. I've
currently listed two machines (one for Target and one for HD-Ice) that
are custom systems and should be covered by there respective departments.

Please check the list (on Page 4) and determine if your groups can fund
and of these. Let me know as soon as possible, as we want to order
the new machines using end of year funds.
