Dear Collaborators,

The plan, as shown at the weekly MCC meeting today, is to start beam delivery to Hall D at 8am on Monday Dec. 2nd. Consequently, the Monday early morning shifts are now on standby too, up to 8am.

The decision on what will be the beam energy for the run is expected to be taken this Friday, or Monday 25th at the latest.

Finally, on Monday Nov. 25th, the Hall+Tagger will be closed from 2pm to about 4pm for power supply tests.

Thank you,

Alexandre Deur,
Hall D run coordinator (757) 383 5542

Subject: Run update

Dear Collaborators,

The accelerator staff have fixed the leak in the north linac and are now back to preparing for CEBAF operation. The start of the physics run for Hall D is now scheduled for Nov. 2nd. (There might be physics beam earlier, but that would be for the Hall A program.)

Consequently, shifts are cancelled up to Nov. 30th. The shifts on the 31st and Dec. 1st are now on standby.

There is still no word on what will be the beam energy.

Please let me know if you have any question.

Best regards,

Alexandre Deur,
Hall D run coordinator (757) 383 5542
