Dear collaborators,
The GlueX NIM paper "The GlueX Beamline and Detector" is ready for
collaboration review. The draft is posted as GlueX-doc-4294-v3 (https://halldweb.jlab.org/doc-private/DocDB/ShowDocument?docid=4294)
on the portal with public access. This will make it easy for all authors to
access it. The current draft has 188 authors, 93 pages, 53 figures, and
93 references. Please submit your comments via the web interface as
described below by Monday, April 27. The draft on Overleaf will reflect
updates as comments are submitted, but DO NOT use this version to
reference comments. All comments should refer to the static draft on the
portal.
The web interface allows comments to be made about specific lines of text,
Figures and Tables. In addition, a 'General' comment option is available for feedback
that is more generic. Please use this interface if possible.
However, if the the comment requires a broader audience
for discussion, please submit your question/comment to the gluex-nim mail list
discussion atgluex-nim-paper-discussion at googlegroups.com.
The progress of the paper is documented at
https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki-private/index.php/GlueX_NIM_paper_documentation#Status.
Please review the author list and send appropriate updates. Finally,
there are still a few remaining details that are being worked on and I
have identified them in the first comments to the paper via the web
interface. But they need not delay the collaboration review.
Thanks to everyone that has participated in the project and contributed
to this paper. Elton.
