Another note:
I learned from Rolf that the full Lab's policy concerning the new requirement has not been finalized yet.
For any additional info please wait for further clarifications.

An update:
It occurs that users were able to register their vaccination status in the same way as the staff.
COVID19 test (soon required for unvaccinated people's access): the staff will be able to do it on-site, while users will have to do it elsewhere (CVS pharmacies etc) .

Subject: [Halld] Access to the Lab - new requirements
Today at the MCC meeting it was announced that access to the site will be limited to those who meet one of two requirements:
1. Full vaccination, registered at a Occupational Medicine page. A link to the registration page was announced in a mail from May 7, also available from a memo https://www.jlab.org/memo/vaccine-reporting-jefferson-lab I heard that at that time the registration was only available for the staff. I suppose that it has been or will be extended to the users (the Users Office should be able to help).
2. Passing a weekly COVID test. The Lab will organize such testing, the details will be available soon.
One should keep in mind that the distance/occupational rules are different for vaccinated and unvaccinated people. I do not know if passing the test would change these rules.
