I just got the message from the PD that there won't be any beam tonight.

Shift workers for Wed swing and owl, and Thu early riser are not needed.
Shift workers for Thursday day shift (10 am) should report at the beginning of their shift.

Shift leaders still need to report to the counting house because we have a cold target.

Dear Colleagues,

I just took over as runcoordinator. Here's a brief update:

MCC is still experiencing problems with a magnet in the 4th pass. Folks are working hard to figure out and fix the issue. At this point it is very likely that we won't get beam tonight; but it is still too early to call things off. I just spoke to the PD. We will have a better idea by sometime swing shift today.

Until I hear a firm no from the PD and inform you otherwise, all shift crew should report to their shifts.

I'll send an update later today.
